Alfa Laval issues corporate bonds

LUND, Sweden, February 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has raised 600 million euros on the corporate bond market, within the framework of an existing EMTN programme. The bonds will be listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.

Alfa Laval issued two corporate bonds of 300 million euros each, under the company’s existing EMTN program. The bonds will have a maturity of four and seven years respectively, i.e. with a maturity February 18, 2026 and on February 18, 2029. The four-year bonds carry a coupon of 0.875% per annum and the seven-year bonds carry a coupon of 1.375% per annum.

The proceeds of the bonds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of 500 million euros bonds, maturing in September 2022.
